A workshop in the healing art of the African Xhosa Sangoma tradition led by Ucingo Lwendaba (John Lockley) A senior Xhosa Sangoma (Traditional African Seer)
John has undertaken over 10 years training in the Xhosa Sangoma healing tradition. It was through his dreams that he was called to train as a Sangoma. When he met his teacher she had already experienced dreams predicting his arrival for apprentice-ship. He has now completed a number of initiatory steps to become a fully recognised Xhosa Sangoma.
The Workshop involves awakening dream energy, connecting with Ancestral healing power, Learning Xentsa (African Trance dance), and sharing community healing through a traditional Xhosa healing ceremony.
